Andrew Malac grew up in Los Angeles raised in a musical household, studying classical piano from his mom and rock guitar from his older brother.

After 4 years at Cal State University LA, he toured with Ray Charles and eventually became a studio musician working on records, soundtracks and commercials.

After making contacts in the TV commercial world he soon began a parallel career in post production as a film editor working on accounts such as Budweiser, Mattel, Ford, and many others in various post houses before starting his own production company: Fireball Films. A company that specialized in editing TV commercials for clients such as Mattel and McDonald's, as well music scoring for In-N-Out, Gwen Stefani and the Pussy Cat Dolls, to name just a few.

Eventually he edited trailers and directed spots for Toyota, PSA's, Zynga with Snoop Dog, and others.

Besides freelancing at various agencies and production companies, he owns a post production suite in Los Feliz with an AVID Nitris and Pro Tools HD.

Always looking for new creative challenges, Andrew is now seeking to work on the content "in between the commercials".

Feeling it's really important to keep exploring new places to find inspiration, he spends his off time traveling to exotic places such as Colombia, Mongolia, Bhutan, even North Korea and continues recording and producing music.
